Kate, who lives in Sandwich, volunteers for New England Donor Services and serves as a donor advocate. In 2015, Kate donated the majority of her liver because of the overwhelming need for organ donations. Kate also volunteers regularly for Family Table Collaborative, a nonprofit organization devoted to providing meals to Cape Codders.
