Melane Wayburn has a passion for fashion and helping brides feel beautiful on their special day. During the pandemic, her longtime employer retired and Melane decided to strike out on her own.

With help from EforAll, Melane learned about owning a business and gained the confidence to open her own full-service bridal shop Seaside Bridal Couture at 187 W. Main St., Hyannis. With business booming after the pandemic, Melane was able to double the size of her location!

The store features wedding gowns – all the accessories – and tuxes, bridal party attire, flower girl dresses, plus cocktail gowns, prom dresses and more. Melane and her team offer fittings, alterations, and dress preservation.

Melane has a special section of bridal pieces that are mix and match, so you can create the wedding dress of your dreams. You chose the top and bottom that works best for you. They can be sown together or left separate incase you’d like to have a different bottom at your reception. So many choices!

A popular style with Cape Cod brides is the clean look, meaning not a ton of bling, lace, or other additions. Classic beauty.

But that doesn’t mean you won’t find plenty of sparkles at Seaside Bridal! Melane’s selection of prom and evening gowns is dazzling in a rainbow of options.

Plus, if you’re wondering what to do with your wedding dress, stop by and ask Melane. She can help turn your dress into a christening gown, rehearsal, or after-party dress and more. Melane will work with you to create something truly special for the next generation to cherish.
