The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod today announced the appointment of Brendan Pike to the position of Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager and Small Business Specialist, at its West Barnstable branch.
“Brendan knows the ins-and-outs of the banking needs of local small business owners, and his experience will be an asset to our clients in West Barnstable,” Lisa Oliver, Chair, President and CEO, said. “We’re thrilled to welcome Brendan to our team.”
Most recently a Branch Manager at Citizens Bank in Harwich, Pike brings nearly two decades of banking experience to the position. During his time at Citizens Bank, he was promoted twice, from Assistant Branch Manager to Branch Manager in the Hyannis in-store location, and then later as Branch Manager in Harwich. Prior to joining Citizens Bank, Pike worked for Fleet Bank, Nantucket Bank, and Sovereign Bank.
“I am excited to be part of a team that focuses on the client and to work for a community bank, where I can make a difference,” Pike said. “Decisions aren’t made to increase shareholder value, like in a large corporate bank. At The Coop, decisions are made for the benefit of the customers, colleagues and the community.”
Pike attended Boston College and the University of South Florida. He resides in Hyannis and enjoys reading, swimming, biking, basketball, and is an aviation enthusiast.
