As a community bank, The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod is committed to serving and supporting the residents of Cape Cod. The Coop is pleased to announce the board appointments of Carlyn Carey, FVP, Corporate Counsel and Compliance Officer, and Chris Cataldo, AVP, Branch Manager-Small Business Specialist.
Carey, who has worked at The Coop since 2011, was voted onto the Board of Directors for the Cape Cod Theatre Company/Harwich Junior Theatre. Since the 1950s, the multi-generational theater has been committed to educating, empowering, and inspiring students.
“I am thrilled to contribute to the Cape Cod Theatre Company/Harwich Junior Theatre. Their new dance programming and performance work, despite the challenges of COVID, show how this arts organization continuously evolves so that students of all ages can explore and expand their creative talents,” Carey said.
Cataldo, who leads The Coop’s East Harwich branch, was elected to the Board of Directors for Cape Cod Media. The nonprofit community media center and the public access TV station serves the towns of Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, and Chatham. Cape Cod Media’s mission is to build community through media, enhance democratic communication, and facilitate free expression by providing the five towns with a state-of-the-art media resource center.
“I’ve always been an enthusiastic supporter of public broadcast access,” Cataldo said. “To represent The Coop, while also supporting a mission that is so dear to me, it is quite the privilege.”
